[The feed opens to the view of Olivine beach, held by its owner as she records the horizon and ocean for a while. It records silence for a few moments before the owner speaks up, sounding hesitant.]

... if you've done something wrong in the past that hurt a lot of people, and every one of them said that it was alright and that they didn't blame you...

... but... you still feel guilty over it...

... how do you go about forgiving yourself?

[There's more silence and then an audible sigh, before there's an elephant trumpet sound, and Namine giggles as a Phanpy clambers and obscures half the view of the camera.]

I don't know what you did, exactly... but you can't think like that, Naminé.

Then doesn't that mean you've done everything you've can?

Rise, what if someone messed with your memories to the point that your memories of the person who is most important to you was replaced with someone else and you forgot .... or was somehow indirectly the cause for one of them to disappear... or even the cause of a friend to forget about you.... and that when they tried to fix it, it only caused more trouble? How would you feel?

I made a mistake that caused a chain of even worse events to follow.

I want to know what you did, not what sort of thing you did. It may be subjective.

Every time I think about, I can't help but hate how selfish I was. All of it started because I was too scared to be alone, instead of doing the right thing. And so many had to pay the price eventually.

Then you're the only one who hates you.

Namine... do you trust Roxas? And Sora, and everyone who you say you've made pay?

Do I deserve to be their friend though? After I've done horrible things?

I think, if you're capable of asking and being aware of what you are - or are not - then there's at least something to start with... and from there, it just means more time spent deciding who and what you do want to be.

Well, how do you define who you are? If you're aware of yourself and capable of thinking and recognizing yourself, then obviously you exist and have an identity, no matter what else might be "Missing" or something you'd need to find, and the rest is - something to work on defining.

Manipulation? That's something that everyone does at some point or another, isn't it?

I spent the entire day with it and I think it's starting to like me.

I guess I'm just being used to being a shadow of someone, I haven't really considered myself as someone entirely different. I mean, I want to be myself, but back in my own world, I wasn't much of a Somebody.
