Fairy tales? There are plenty of them. They're children's stories-- cautionary tales, if I recall correctly. Though I don't recall any of them being as... saccharine as the picture you drew.

I think there are many fairy tales similar in nature. Cinderella, Snow White, the Twelve Dancing Princesses. The story of the tinderbox and the dog with eyes as big as saucers.
