[The view clicks on to a view of an open window. Surprisingly, it's the first sunny day in days.]

Alright, come on.

[The feed pans to a Cherrim in overcast form, who bounces towards the open window, and immediately changes itself to its sunny form. It bounces happily on the window, flailing its arms.]

Cher! Cherrim!

You're happy, right? This is a nice day. It's a happy day for me too.

[There's a pause as the feed just shows the sunny view of Goldenrod, Namine sounding thoughtful above the happy chants of "Cher cherrim!"]

I've been here for a year now.

[She's quiet for a few moments, until an Altaria flaps near the window. Namine's arm holds out so she can pet the fluffy bird.]

Go stretch your wings some more while it's still sunny.

[It does and with a sigh, Namine pans the view to the still happy Cherrim.]

Are there other pokemon like this? That changes their form with the weather?

I got her during the second time everyone in Johto was given eggs. I think around Easter? And during those times, the eggs we got sometimes came from different regions. SO I think she's from outside Johto.

... being free, I guess.

Once in a while we see pokemon that we don't normally see around. I think Professor Oak said some pokemon are foreign to this region, meaning there's more out there.

More freedom? Are you trapped back home?

Oh, no! I apologize for giving you that impression. I'm just not supposed to leave the farm and there's not a lot to do on the farm.

Yes, in Kansas. Uncle Henry and Aunt Em handle most of the day to day things. I just have some chores, and they aren't much fun...but I miss the farm.

Chores like what? I haven't been to a farm before. I know there's a farm here in Johto, but it's for Miltanks only.

Like feeding the chickens, tending the vegetable patch and helping Aunt Em clean the house.

Not even a month, but I spent over a month in Oz and I was about to go home...then I woke up here.

Oh, I know that. Someone I talked to when I arrived had been here a year and three months. I just hope I won't be here that long. But people here are really nice and helpful. It'd be a little sad to leave.
