[The feed comes on from strange angle. It seems to be coming from a good height from the ground, and is focused on Naminé poring over putting finishing touches to the food she's working on. She's got ingredients all over the counter of the inn kitchen, with a giant cookbook in the middle of it all.

After making chocolate for Valentine's day, she's gotten an interest in cooking, because there is an art to it. After several failed attempts, she's finishing up a bento she made herself. There are two other containers next to it, all finished. Probably for her traveling party. And three of these are already set to the side. She looks pretty pleased with herself as she finishes the last one, and turns away to clean up.

Cue this feed zooming in and... stealing one of those sandwiches.

And then a Vaporeon comes up and grabs like several of those fish shaped cookies.

And then a Pidgeot lumbers over quietly and takes half of those cut berries.

When Naminé turns back, she looks at where her finished creation was. Then looks up at the feed, spotting one of the perpetrators with a pout.]

Salty!

He might be.

... But I can't just ignore Bell, either.

Does Bell love fighting?

[Salty hovers near her trainer again, tiny wings flapping and looking curious :o Bell's a friend of hers /o/ They were fellow Togepis.]

[ Nods. ] Sora told me that Bell likes fighting... I just didn't know how much until now. [ She looks to Salty and waves, smiling. ]

[Salty "tiiiic"'s happily and resumes hovering over her trainer's head in a circle like a satellite at the recognition.]

Hm.. I haven't been in any situation like this before...

... maybe you can teach them to work together?

[ Xion tilts her head as she thinks about it. ]

I could try.

[ And Xion pauses for a moment as she rummages through her pockets for Bell's Pokeball, gets it, and comes Bell with a happy cry! ... and then goes to immediately plaster herself to Xion's face. Axel is just narrowing his eyes at Bell. ]

Mmph!

[O-oh dear. Salty flies over to her fellow pokemon and tugs her off with a "togeeeeeee" and Namine is all too willing to help pry off the pokemon.]

[ Bell is persistent in trying to hug Xion's face to death, but after one final squeeze, she flies off... and then proceeds to hug Salty. Togepi buddy! Xion's rubbing her face. ]

Thank you, Namine, Salty.

[CUE THE HAPPIEST CHITTERING EVER.]

Mhm, it's nothing. So, how do you plan to make them work together?

Is it allowed to have more than one Pokemon battle together?

You mean like a double battle?

I guess that's it?

Mm.

[A pause.]

Want to try going against me?

[ Blinks. ] I don't know... [ Looking between Axel and Bell now. ]

It's like any battle, except you have to coordinate with two pokemon, I think?

Either way, it might help them work with each other?

[ Pauses... then nods. ] Okay.

Axel, Bell. [ Bell quickly comes back to Xion upon being called, but Axel takes his time wandering back. At least he listened. Maybe the berry did help. ]

I'm not really good at fighting too, so... but I'll try.

[Since there's already a Togetic in Xion's party, Namine looks thoughtful before petting Salty on the head with an unspoken smile. The Togetic hovers away from the battlefield, and Sea immediately clambers next to his trainer, prepared.

She then pulls her own pokeball out, and Sunset comes out, the Vulpix standing next to Sea in attention. She knows Axel will probably do most of the fighting, and even if Sea gets hit by flames, it won't hurt that much.]

[ Xion stares at Namine's pokemon for a moment... then she blinks, remembering something. Meanwhile, sensing opponents, Axel soon goes on all fours and Bell twirls in the air. ]

Wait, Namine, what about your cooking?

[Oh right.]

I can finish them later. I finished the food we'll be eating on the travel, and the rest of my pokemon won't eat those. I might as well give up on the other tray of pokemon food I had. It's probably gone as well.

[Indeed. With her Murkrow probably bursting out of its pokeball, Salty and Sky in there, it's probably licked clean.]

[ Axel growls, probably a signal for them to start the fight already. ]

Ready.

[She figures she might as well play it on the safe side. She's got Sunset at most, 28, while Sea lags a little at 23. Sh, she's a breeder, not a trainer. She nods at that and Sunset jumps in front of the Vaporeon protectively almost immediately. ]

Sea, use Helping Hand. Sunset, Safeguard!

[Defense is a go!]

[ Xion doesn't know what either of those two moves really do, but can take a guess from their titles alone. Still, this is a first for her, so she's going on the safe side, too. ]

Axel, use Smoke Screen! [ And looking back on Bell's various moves... ] Bell, use Follow Me!

[Xion, are you trying to get Bell killed.]

Okay, Sunset, Quick Attack on--

[-- Bell? Wait, she hasn't ordered -- oh geez, that move Bell did probably did it.

... she's praying Axel will get the idea that this is a cooperation battle. At this rate, all attacks are getting trained at Bell. Either way, the Vulpix rams as fast as it can at the bird.]

[ Honestly? She doesn't know. ]

Watch out, Bell!

[ Annnnnd...! There's a plume of black smoke coming right at your face, Sunset. Axel is getting the idea that he and Bell should work together, and while he wouldn't care less about the other Pokemon, he likes to win. Although, with Bell getting all the attacks, maybe it's his chance to shine and show how strong he is... ]
