[The feed comes on from strange angle. It seems to be coming from a good height from the ground, and is focused on Naminé poring over putting finishing touches to the food she's working on. She's got ingredients all over the counter of the inn kitchen, with a giant cookbook in the middle of it all.

After making chocolate for Valentine's day, she's gotten an interest in cooking, because there is an art to it. After several failed attempts, she's finishing up a bento she made herself. There are two other containers next to it, all finished. Probably for her traveling party. And three of these are already set to the side. She looks pretty pleased with herself as she finishes the last one, and turns away to clean up.

Cue this feed zooming in and... stealing one of those sandwiches.

And then a Vaporeon comes up and grabs like several of those fish shaped cookies.

And then a Pidgeot lumbers over quietly and takes half of those cut berries.

When Naminé turns back, she looks at where her finished creation was. Then looks up at the feed, spotting one of the perpetrators with a pout.]

Salty!

[Sea reaches up to lick his trainer's cheek, and she giggles before nodding.]

[Cue him starting a march...and yes, he actually is marching, toward their destination]

[Oh my God, she can't stop giggling. She just follows him, though Salty hovers just behind him and seems to be matching his marching by swaying in the air side to side.]

What were you doing before you found me in the kitchen?

Mostly trying to figure out what to get a friend for her birthday. She's...kind of hard to shop for.

[Princess chimes in her agreement there, tail swishing like a banner behind her]

[Ah, the subject of birthdays. Something she can't relate to.]

Who?

[Do you want one, Nammers? Ven would be happy to celebrate it]

Lightning. Her birthday's on the ninth.

Is there anything she particularly likes to do? A hobby or anything?

[Silly Nobodies, you make your friends happy by being, and that's worth celebrating. Someday, Ven'll get that notion to stick]

I'm...not too sure. I know she's a soldier and she trains a lot, but she doesn't talk much about things she likes.

[Convince Roxas first. He's more stubborn.]

How about something to help her train?

[Ven's been working on it, slowly but surely. He's pretty sure he can get away with celebrating, just...not a big party]

...But what kinda stuff do they have in this world for people?

[Stop applying logic on her. Hm.]

Well, there has to be something. I'm not really sure myself, I've never fought before.

[There are trainers dressed up like Karate Masters so there's gotta be something for human fighting here.]

Wow, really? D'you use magic then?

[Easily distracted, yes he is]

[A pause. Salty stops her floaty-marching to hover again near her trainer. No sad thoughts, trainer!]

... kind of.

...Bad topic? It's okay, we can talk about something else.

Mm, no, it's okay.

[She figures she should stop hiding things. Better people knew about it from her than from the Organization.]

Has Aqua told you anything?

About you..? No, I don't think she has.

I figured. She's too nice to tell others.

[And she sighs.]

It's sort of magic, I suppose. I could manipulate memories.

Aqua wouldn't unless somebody was in danger otherwise, just how she is.

But what does somebody do with a power like that?

Imagine if you have the power to manipulate someone's memories. Make them forget who they are, the people close to them, and install new and fake memories instead.

[She pauses at that, and Sea reaches up to lick her cheek encouragingly.]

... that's what the people who found me forced me to do to Sora.

To Sora? But he seems to remember things just fine here.

That's because it hasn't happneed yet. I rearranged his memories a few months after he saved Kairi.

But who would make you do something like that?

I'm not sure if you met them yet, but there' are people already here in Johto who are wearing black coats. They're called the Organization. Xion and Roxas used to be a part of them though.

[Just making sure her party members' names are clear.]

...Those guys...they seem pretty different, I've met a few of them. The first guy I talked to actually seemed pretty nice, but that lady with the antenna hair [he even gesticulates to mimic the look of Larxene's hairdo] doesn't seem like him at all.

[Which reminds him]

I think she said she was gonna talk to you, because she kept insisting I was Roxas and I told her I wasn't.
