► ninth sketch [Video]

[The feed comes on from strange angle. It seems to be coming from a good height from the ground, and is focused on Naminé poring over putting finishing touches to the food she's working on. She's got ingredients all over the counter of the inn kitchen, with a giant cookbook in the middle of it all.

After making chocolate for Valentine's day, she's gotten an interest in cooking, because there is an art to it. After several failed attempts, she's finishing up a bento she made herself. There are two other containers next to it, all finished. Probably for her traveling party. And three of these are already set to the side. She looks pretty pleased with herself as she finishes the last one, and turns away to clean up.

Cue this feed zooming in and... stealing one of those sandwiches.

And then a Vaporeon comes up and grabs like several of those fish shaped cookies.

And then a Pidgeot lumbers over quietly and takes half of those cut berries.

When Naminé turns back, she looks at where her finished creation was. Then looks up at the feed, spotting one of the perpetrators with a pout.]

Salty!

Togetiiiic!

I'll just have to remake them, I guess.

Not really. It's actually kind of fun.

I'm glad it's something you enjoy then.

Will you be traveling soon?

We're heading for Ecruteak soon, mm.

Huh, that's where Euphemia and I have been. There're a lot of interesting legends about this place.

Like there's this burned tower, and three legendary beasts are associated with it. Not just the fire that happened, but the elements that put a stop to it. Morty knew the story behind that, even.

... three legendary beasts?

[identity profile] databinder.livejournal.com 2011-03-07 11:42 am (UTC)(link)
Right. Their names are Entei, Suicune, and Raikou. Each one has a different element. Actually...it made me think of the spells Sora first learned.

Entei is fire, Suicune is water, and Raikou is thunder.

Why connection do they have to the tower though?

If what I've heard is right, there's another legendary creature, a bird, that roosts at the top of the bell tower. It supposedly created the three beasts from the spirits of ones who died in the fire.

Because of their connection to the burned-down tower, rumor has it that they show up there from time to time. I haven't seen them yet, myself.

That's strange. So there are legendary pokemon out there...

Yeah. The monks in the bell tower won't let me past the first floor though, so I haven't been able to investigate that further.

Some of the stories conflict, too.

Why are you gathering information on this?

[identity profile] databinder.livejournal.com 2011-03-07 12:44 pm (UTC)(link)
I needed to have something to do. It's...the first thing I thought of, gathering information.

[He feels more useful this way]

So you're not interested in training your pokemon?

[identity profile] databinder.livejournal.com 2011-03-07 12:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I've been raising them, but I don't want to tire them out.

Some of them like fighting though, so I think it just depends on the pokemon themselves.

How do you know if they like to fight?
