Mm, I think that will do.

[The feed clicks on abruptly with a soft "toge!" People around Violet town will see an interesting sight. A bunch of locals, pokemon and one Nobody are gathered around one part of town, with boxes of decorations, lights, streamers, banners, and occasional lanterns and several other things for the festival. Naminé herself has an armful of posters in her arms, and she watches some of the locals stretch out the flag streamers they had worked on all morning, preparing to hoist them up. Everything seems to have a fall-theme to it, with warm oranges, bright yellows and reds.

Sky, Naminé's Pidgey, has an end of the flag streamer in one claw, and she flies off to one end, raising it to quite a height as she passes the feed. It might be a little early, but with so many things to be done, it's better if things got started.]

[And no, it's not Xion. We don't get where Naminé got her hairstyle too, since it's longer than KH1!Kairi's short hair, so don't even ask, Sora.]

[he tilts his head at Naminé incredulously. look, he's catching on! ... maybe.]

[because how else would Naminé have been able to draw this? Unless, in a roundabout way, she was there, too?]

[Now she feels bad for telling him, and there's guilt painted all over her face. Salty senses this and immediately toddles over to her trainer's feet, prri-ing.]

[that guilty look rips him up inside, and he reaches up to place a hand on her arm-- he hesitates, though, unsure.]

But you... Can be your own person, right? You don't have to...

[merge? she wouldn't be like he and Roxas are, would she?]

In this world, mm. I can exist separately.

But I can't in our world. Kairi's incomplete without me. I was already merged with her before I came here.

[he made a mess that day, didn't he? and who knows where that friend he helped 10 years ago went.]

[he's sleeping in the the basement of the castle I was born in, Sora.]

You did what you had to do, Sora. And if you haven't done it, more people would have been in danger.

[sheesh, and I get called a lazy bum.]

Well, I-- I'd do it again in a heartbeat. [hurrr, excuse the pun. Sora doesn't even realize he's made it.]

I'm just sorry that so many other people got involved.

[he has the current record of twelve years of sleeping while you only got one. shame.

She cringes at that pun but tries to offer him a small smile. You got a lot of people involved the moment you were born, boy.]

I know. ... but, to tell you the truth, I'm actually glad I existed.

[if Nomura had his way, Sora would have been getting all up in people's business even before he was born. that gets a smile out of him, though.]

I guess your happiness is all I could ever really ask for, Naminé.

... well, I can't really feel happy, but I'll try.

[praying that he doesn't drink anymore paint thinner and change his mind. Sora's giving Naminé a sort of "buh?" face now, though.]

[And she shakes her head.]

Nobodies don't have hearts. So technically, we can't really feel. Though DiZ said because of my origins, I'm supposed to be different.

... Now I really don't understand.

[Sora can't imagine not being able to feel.]

Although Nobodies look like they could feel, sometimes they're just pretending. That's how it is. Or they remember from the experiences they had when they still had their heart. It's like...

... like trying to remember a taste of a food. Except you're not tasting it right now. Does that make sense?

[now you're speaking Sora's language! he thinks about that for a few minutes, his arms crossed, then he nods.]

Yeah... That doesn't hardly seem fair, though. It's not your fault, you know?

I know, but we can't really do anything about it.

So... I guess we have to make the best of the time we've got here, then. Right?
