Me and Salty were just walking and one of those... Pidgeys, I think, attacked us since we got too near the tall grass. I-I just did what Snake told me about telling Togepi to use Metronome and--

[Whatever attack her little egg thing did reduced the wild pokemon's health. She has no idea how to catch pokemon yet, Terra. And the poor girl is not used to fighting.]

Yeah. They get sucked into the ball, and that's where you can carry them. Some of them get too big over time, so they cant always walk beside you. It doesn't hurt them at all, and I'm sure they're comfortable in it.

The Pokemon are pretty tough. Even if it looks like they're hurt, the wild ones usually get up after a few minutes like nothing happened.
