I think they can only faint, and they recover a short while after.

In this place, I don't think it's the same thing. Whether they're wild or have trainers, pokémon want to battle. I'm not sure why that is, but it explains why they'll attack when you wander into tall grass.

It's good to care, everybody should. Like there's things I wouldn't do with my teammates, or put them through, and Hope's the same way.
